Regional Conference “Let’s Clean the Western Balkans: A Regional Initiative for Environmental Action and Cooperation”

Ta Pastrojmë Kosovën (Let's Do It Kosovo), in partnership with Go Green from North Macedonia, Green Line Albania, and in cooperation with Let’s Do It World, invites organizations, activists, informal groups, and community-based initiatives to apply for participation in the regional conference “Let’s Clean the Western Balkans: A Regional Initiative for Environmental Action and Cooperation.”

This Call is open for participants from all the six Contracting Parties from the Western Balkans Region.
The conference will take place in Durrës, Albania, with the main programme organized from 26–28 September 2026. Participants are expected to depart on 29 September 2026.
The aim of the conference is to strengthen cooperation among environmental organizations and civil society actors across the Western Balkans, exchange experiences, share good practices, and plan future joint environmental actions. The programme will include discussions on environmental cooperation, cleanup campaigns, community mobilization, regional networking, and strategic planning for future cooperation, including opportunities related to World Cleanup Day 2027.
Participants will also take part in a joint environmental cleanup action in Albania as part of the conference programme.

Travel costs, accommodation, and meals during the conference will be covered for selected participants, in line with the project budget and available resources. More detailed logistical information will be shared with selected participants after the selection process.

The selection process will be based on the relevance of the applicant’s work, motivation to contribute to regional cooperation, experience or interest in environmental action, and balanced participation from the Western Balkans Region.
The project is co-funded by the European Union and the Western Balkans Fund under the EU/WBF Joint Action Phase III – Grants for Grassroots Initiatives.
